  76. echo  ░      with the extension ".DOC", ".TXT", ".MAN", or "READ.ME", "INTRO",

  78. echo  ░      you will have to either print it out (hardcopy, on printer) or

  102. echo  █      instructions listed in the documentation.  If there is no
  103. echo  █      documentation, type DIR at the DOS prompt.  Any files that
  104. echo  █      are listed with ".EXE", ".COM" or ".BAT" can be executed.
  105. echo  █      If the program file ends in ".BAS", then it will require
  106. echo  █      the use of a BASIC interpreter (such as BASICA or GW-BASIC)
  107. echo  █      unless the program has included the executable form also.
  108. echo  █      Consult your BASIC manual for instructions on how to run
  109. echo  █      uncompiled BASIC programs.  Renaissance Software has BASIC

  120. echo  █      If you run across a file with the filename ending in ".ZIP" or
  121. echo  █      ".ARC", then you will have to run an unarchiving program to
  122. echo  █      be able to use these.  Programs like PKUNZIP.EXE will decompress
  123. echo  █      a ".ZIP" file while you will have to use PKXARC.COM in order to
  124. echo  █      decompress an "archived" file.  Just copy the compressed file to
  125. echo  █      your harddrive or blank floppy and type PKUNZIP "filename" or
  126. echo  █      PKXARC "filename".  It should expand properly.  NOTE:  There 
  127. echo  █      be plenty of room on your harddrive or floppy in order for these
  128. echo  █      files to expand.  A 150 kilobyte file can sometimes take up an
  129. echo  █      entire blank 360k floppy when expanded.
